Auction Rules

Please read and understand all rules prior to bidding. Any and all bids in our auctions acknowledge and agree to the below conditions. 

US Dollars - As per the industry standard, all auctions are conducted in US Funds.
Registration - A seperate account from FrozenPond.com will be required for Frozen Pond Auctions. All user registrations will need a unique e-mail and credit card to prevent fraudulent bidding. 
Bidding - All bidding is conducted online. A bid is a contractual obligation to purchase an item at the indicated amount. Once a bid is placed it cannot be removed without a reasonable explanation in writing.
Extended Bidding - All lots will extend until there is a 5 minute period without bidding. Until that timeframe is reached, an extra 5 minutes period will be added after each addtional bid. 
Bidding Increments - The next bid in any lot must be 10% higher than the current bid. Meaning to outbid a $100 bid you must bid at least $110 - and the bid after that must be $121. 
Shipping - Winning bidders pay shipping charges and are responsible for all tariffs, taxes, duties and any other additional fees associated with shipping to your location. Prices listed are via Canada Post within Canada and UPS to the USA. International bidders will need to contact auctions@frozenpond.com for comfirmation we ship to their region and quotes. 
Combined Shipping - Multiple items won in the same auction by one user will be automatically combined to save on shipping. This will be reflected on your invoice with a combined shipping fee. 
Item Customization - Custom framing, jersey sewing and other services are available upon request. Contact us shortly after winning an item and we will add the additional product to your invoice. Please allow for additional handling time with any special request.
Authentication - Every autographed item will be accompanied by Frozen Pond's Certificate of Authenticity and holofoil unless otherwise noted. Special items such as game-worn, event-used, etc. will be accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity. Please review each item description for exact details. 
Returns - All auction sales are final. Items can only be returned if they arrive damaged or not as described. 
Payment - We accept most major credit cards as well as PayPal. An invoice will be sent within 3 business days of an auction closing (most instances next day). Payment is due within 7 calendar days - after that Frozen Pond reserves the right to begin contacting underbidders. 
Sales Tax - Applicable taxes are based on shipment destinations below. 
Maritime Provinces - 15%
Ontario - 13%
All Other Canadian Provinces/Territories - 5%
