The Personal Effects of The Howe's - Hockey's Royal Family

In 2019, Frozen Pond entered a strategic partnership with Mark & Marty Howe to begin raising funds for The Howe Foundation in honor of their late father and mother - Gordie and Colleen Howe. Thus began the process of sharing thousands of Howe Family artifacts with the hockey world. The collection turned over to Frozen Pond has included Gordie, Mark and Marty game-worn jerseys, personal awards, championship rings, used equipment all the way to fishing lures and license plates. In all of our offerings there has been a price point for everyone to get involved in the excitement. Over the years, Frozen Pond has conducted multiple fundraising auctions and sales resulting in over $1 million USD in transactions. The Howe Foundation is dedicated to sharing the life-long passion for sports with everyone, focusing on two core missions:

1.Kids First: Guided by the legacy of Mr. Hockey®, Gordie Howe, the Howe Foundation strives to help kids participate in sports, from taking their first skates or kicks to competing internationally and attending top-tier schools—regardless of whether they pursue a professional path.

2.Women in the Business of Sports: In honor of Mrs. Hockey®, Colleen Howe, the Foundation empowers women to advance in the sports industry through education, experience, and a supportive network, fostering growth and leadership.
